Trekhgornaya Manufactory

Trekhgornaya Manufactory is one of Moscow's oldest textile enterprises, founded in 1799 and instrumental to the development of Russian industry. For more than two centuries, the historic complex shaped the city's industrial landscape and today stands as a site of industrial heritage with cultural, architectural, and urban significance.

Today, the former manufactory operates as a cultural destination with offices, restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, and clubs. The complex has become one of the central locations for business and public life in central Moscow.

In 2024, the historic territory of the manufactory was transformed into a multifunctional public space. The project began with the development of a comprehensive site strategy and masterplan based on preserving the factory's architectural identity while emphasizing the cultural value of the complex. The concept focused on retaining its historic character and integrating it into the contemporary urban environment.

During implementation, the quarter's internal circulation and servicing were rethought: pedestrian routes were renewed and parking zones were reorganized. Special attention was given to lighting design that emphasizes the architecture and landscape elements after dark. Bespoke pavilions and recreation areas were introduced to improve visitor comfort. The final stage included comprehensive planting and the renewal of entrance areas, helping establish Trekhgornaya Manufactory as one of the city's new points of attraction.

The project was delivered end-to-end - from concept development and transport modeling to stormwater drainage and lighting systems.
